KAELYN: The seasons are changing that’s all I can see
By St. Paddy’s Day, we were shut down.
Now leaves are growing, all around me
And all around Old Newport town.
DAN: Summer’s not summer, when you’re all stuck inside
And all of this time’s flashing by.
The fools show their faces, and don’t leave no spaces
But me, I’m not looking to die.
CAROLINE: I can’t hug my sister, it all gets me down,
I can’t shake my neighbor’s hand.
The Green Briar is shuttered,
I can’t buy you a drink
So I walk 20 miles in the sand.
CHRISTY: Now fall is upon us, and everything’s changed
Except for the leaves on the ground
School is in session but it’s all rearranged.
And soon snow will be falling down.
ROBIN: The holiday season is coming, I hear,
The calendar says it is so.
It’s supposed to be freezing, I don’t want that this year,
So tell that Jack Frost to go.
ELIZA: I can’t see a movie, I can’t see a play,
I can’t do things that I like to do.
Wharf Tavern is shuttered,
I can’t buy you a drink
So I’m Zooming around with you.
MARK and KAELYN: The seasons hold beauty, it comes and it goes,
Like happiness, and sadness too.
I just hold on, as life ebbs and flows,
Until I can hold on to you.
EDEN: Then I’ll hug my sister, go out on the town,
And I’ll shake my neighbor’s hand.
The Green Briar’s open
You’ll buy me a drink
And we’ll crawl 20 miles in the sand.

1. Feeling like a Grinch this Christmas
Bah humbug and all that business
Not infected with that Christmas cheer
I’m single like I’ve been all year
2. In a movie this is when he’d find me
Fighting over the perfect pine tree
We go sledding and he follows my lead
The happy ending is guaranteed
CHORUS
Drop me in a Christmas movie
Always corny always cutesy
Endless cheer, enchanted spirit
Snow and magic can’t you feel it?
Christmas Eve we fall in love
Fly to me my turtledove
Oh drop me in a Christmas movie, woah
2. I’m home for a small town holiday
Family tells me I should stay
But his passion will convince me
As we fall in love miraculously
3. My boyfriend’s secret royalty
His best friend doubts my loyalty
Our best laid plans all blowup
But back in love is where we glowup.
CHORUS
PRINCE HARRY RAP:
Christmas angels granting wishes
Perfectly timed mistletoe kisses
Magic of Santa teaching lessons
Find a family secret message
Gingerbread cookies by a fire
Carols sung by a holiday choir
The snow falls gently right on cue
And in the end my love is true
INTERLUDE:
He was just a playa
I was a struggling baker
Met cute, called him faker, now
He’s inspired a new cookie flavor (PEPPERMINT KISSSSSSSS)

oooh
oooh
oooh
snowflakes falling down
driving through it all
coming home to you
look out the window
everything is cold
it's quiet dark as night
i can't see past the headlights
11 miles to you
the snow is all around me
but that's not gonna stop me
i miss your eyes
i miss your voice
hold me til' i'm warm
i won't feel the storm
i will feel you melt into my arms

1. Been dreaming and hoping
The colors of Christmas could change
No gold red and green
Can't feel what they’d mean
This year my wishes are black and white
that all shades between, will see the light
When will we live in unity?
Not me vs. you, or you vs. me
When will it be that we finally see
We're all one? A present that would be
(UNDERSCORE during CHORUS
When will it be, oh when will it be
When will we see, oh when will we see
When will it be, say when will it be)
2. 'Cause I have a dream,
Like many before
Where all live in peace
And no one’s at war.
My Christmas holiday is black and white
and all shades between, what a beautiful sight
When will we live in unity?
Not me vs. you, or you vs. me
When will it be that we finally see
We're all one? The beauty that would be
Longing for justice, search near and far.
Where are the wise men, where is our star?
Here in a world that’s shrouded in night
We need some love, we need some light.
3.This is the season
When wishes come true.
Let the colors of Christmas
Reflect me and you.
The possibilities that could be
When we give respect and equality
When will we live in unity?
Not me vs. you, or you vs. me
When will it be that we finally see
We're all one? The beauty that would be.

INTRO
Happy New Year to the Gentiles, ringing bells out in the cold.
But for God’s Chosen People, the new year’s three months old.
I’m counting down the minutes ’til I can celebrate with you
The eve of Rosh Hashanah, five thousand seven hundred eighty two.
1. I got us front row tickets, in the temple’s finest pew
Where the cantor’s singing that Avinu Malkeinu,
My heart is like the shofar, and it’s bleating just for you,
On Rosh Hashanah Eve.
2. We’ll dine at my Bubbe’s, she’s been cooking for a week.
She’ll stuff you with her kishke and leave lipstick on your cheek.
I’ll talk politics with my uncles, it’s the only time we speak.
On Rosh Hashanah Eve.
BRIDGE I’ll hold your hand like my mother holds a grudge.
Feed you dates and challah, give your knee a little nudge.
You could be an atheist, but who am I to judge?
For I have faith in us.
3. Yom Kippur is holy, Passover is too,
Hannukah goes slowly, wanna share it all with you.
L’shanah tovah, baby, out with the old, in with the new.
On Rosh Hashanah Eve.
4. Strolling down Cold Spring Street, past leaves of gold and red,
You’ve made me very happy, I can’t wait until we’re wed.
Necking with the madeleh who will love me ’til I’m dead,
On Erev Rosh Hashanah.
On Rosh Hashanah Eve.

The night is cold, my love
The air holds a chill
When your sleigh flies away
My heart grows still.
My hearth is warm for you
Follow its shining light
Welcome home Santa love,
Let's end this cold and lonely night.
I've sent the elves a'packing
Rudolph dreams in his hay
Let's put arms around each other
At the end of this Christmas Day.
Don't you have a gift for me?
Haven't you read my list?
Your box lies under the tree
Come open it with a kiss.
. . . (interlude)
Please wake up, my darling.
Your rocket was a dud, I fear.
I'll eat your milk and cookies
And we'll try again next year.

1. Obsessing over Santa Claus is tragic.
My family says, “Don’t concern yourself!”
I say, “Deal with it. For I know he’s magic.
After all, he is a seventeen-hundred-fifty-year-old elf."
2. But Santa, I am a bit worried.
For him, I have a true concern.
‘Cause Santa eats foods that are too high in fat.
And how he eats so much of ‘em is tough to discern. . . .
CHORUS Does Santa have a tummy ache every Christmas Day
From eating his favorite treats?
The chimney's getting smaller (or Santa's getting bigger)
Santa needs to burn more calories than he eats.
(I'm sure Rudolph could spare a few carrots!)
3. I made a list, I added up the quantities.
So many treats would make my belly moan.
Each Christmas Eve, he drinks:
[spoken] 3 1⁄2 million gallons of milk and eats 3⁄4 ton of cookies. WOW! [sung]
Each Christmas Eve, his belly should stay home!
4. Let’s help Santa’s BMI get better.
Don’t leave milk and cookies this year.
Just text him emojis and thank you’s instead.
It's a low-cal way to send Christmas cheer. EVERY YEAR . .
CHORUS Does Santa have a Tummy Ache every Christmas Day,
From eating his favorite treats?
The reindeer hate to pull him, the sleigh's developed cracks,
Santa needs to burn more calories than he eats.
CHORUS Does Santa have a Tummy Ache? No doubt. That’s for sure!
So keep your milk and cookies on your shelves.
If Santa keeps eating his demise will be assured.
And then we'll have to ho ho ho ourselves.
And then we'll have to ho ho ho ourselves.

1. The time is approaching,
it's coming our way, so
make plans to be on the scene.
We'll celebrate everything on the same day,
on the Fourth of ChrisPatThankMasWeen.
2. Each day’s like the last, no fun to look towards,
when you’re stuck inside quarantine.
But we’ll all have a blast, and we'll reap the rewards
on the Fourth of ChrisPatThankMasWeen.
BRIDGE We’ll wrap Christmas presents in red white and blue,
plant flags in the pumpkins so round.
Eat hot Easter turkey, and candy corn too,
and toss all our masks on the ground.
3. The fireworks light up the Thanksgiving floats,
the kids disconnect the Zoom screen.
Drink egg nog and Guinness as we sow all our oats
on the Fourth of ChrisPatThankMas Ween.
4. My school graduation’s a beach barbecue,
and it’s Mother’s Day, so we wear green.
The New Year’s Ball drops as the brides say "I do"
on the Fourth of ChrisPatThankMasWeen.
BRIDGE It's everyone's birthday, we're all 29,
We'll sing, drink and dance all we want!
My grandma's immune, so won't it be fine
to eat shrimp in a packed restaurant.
5. It’s never too late to commemorate
the events that we missed in between.
In one day we’ll squeeze in one long festive season. . .
It’s the Fourth of ChrisPatThankMasWeen.
The goal is to catch up, who cares if they match up?
It’s the Fourth of ChrisPatThankMasWeen!

All-new hilarious & heartwarming songs for the season, written and performed by six students of Eden Casteel Music Studio.
Written, arranged, and recorded, September-November 2020.
Recorded at ECMS in Wakefield RI and remotely by students.
In September 2020, knowing that singing indoors was risky and live performing was impossible, six students at Eden Casteel Music Studio took on the challenge of writing and recording all-new holiday songs. Most of them had performed before, but were new to songwriting.
They met together in person only once, outside on Eden's back deck on a cold, windy Sunday night -- with distancing and masks on! The creation, learning, recording, and production of these songs happened almost entirely online, over a period of three months.
This is ECMS's second student album in less than six months (thanks, COVID!). The first, "Six Feet From Stardom," features 13 student cover tunes and is available on SoundCloud.
